“HE’S A FRIEND THAT’S ALWAYS THERE, GIVE HIM THANKS IN EVERY PRAYER, GOD PROVIDES IN TIMES OF NEED, TRUST AND LET HIM ALWAYS IEAD”
It’s nearly three years ago now that we had Heidi Christened a Catholic and just reminiscing got me thinking about when we should get Alfie Christened. We had a lovely day for Heidi’s, it was back in August 2015 and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The actual baptism was lovely even though Heidi hated getting wet over the font.
We then had a party for Heidi after the baptism and it was such a lovely day and we managed to capture some lovely pictures from the day. We had children’s entertainment and also Minnie Mouse joined us for a while which went down with all the children that were there. It was also Heidi’s first time seeing Minnie Mouse and she absolutely loved it because she was never far away from her Minnie mouse teddy, she has only just stopped carrying that around the last couple of months.
The entertainment was brilliant, they entertained the children and the adults which is always fun. The whole thing from the food to the entertainment to the decorations was all from a company called PartyZone Liverpool and couldn’t recommend them enough. We had the Christening Silver package and the Gold buffet, when we get Alfie christened sometime later this year we will definitely be using them again.
Heidi’s christening outfit was actually from Next but it’s no longer available so can’t link it, but I loved it. It wasnt to fussy, just nice and simple. We did change her to the pink dress for the party which was from Debenhams, but again it was three years ago so no longer avaliable.
When occasion wear for kids got in contact with me I jumped at the chance to receive on of their little boy christening outfits. I chose the Oliver Christening Romper and it is perfect and exactly what I wanted. Its nice and plain and again like Heidi’s not to fussy. I Love the jacket and romper are separate and depending on the weather how it can be worn.
They had some really lovely outfits for christenings, weddings and any special occasion you might have coming up so I would recommend checking them out if you have a special occasion coming up.
How did you celebrate your little ones christening?
