“New Month, New Mindset, New Focus, New Intentions, New Results”
Sorry but how quick did February go? I can’t believe how quick the months are flying by which scares me because 1 my little boy is growing up too fast and 2 I will be going back to work soon once my maternity leave finishes 🙁
Here are some of my favourite things I have been loving in February.
I absolutly love this jumper and when I seen it in store I wanted it. It was styled with a white shirt underneath and a paid of blue skinny jeans and was a casual look that I wanted. It is also so comfy for these cold days too.
As you all probably know I have been following slimming world for the past couple of weeks and one of my favourite breakfasts is Bacon, egg, rocket & tomatoes on toast. It fills me up until lunch time and its tasty too.
I got this book for my birthday and I love it. I love a cookery book and have so many, i just find so many different recipes and as these are all 15 minute meals its good for mums who never have a minute or if you are always busy. I will be trying a few of these in the next few months so remember to check back and see how they turned out.
Since I have been on maternity leave I have been obsessed with Pretty Little Liars. I had tried to watch it once before but wasnt paying attention so didn’t get in to it, but omg I couldn’t stop watching it this time around. It got that bad even Heidi knew the theme song and would do the “sshhhh” at the end. I would highly recommend it but be warned it does get you gripped.
One of my favourite Instagram accounts I cant stop storking this month is Jessi Milton not only are her photos lovely and her blog posts interesting she is also from Liverpool. So if you like beauty and lifestyle blogs then be sure to check her out.
Since Having Alfie my skin has been awful, so dry and little dry patches on my body and face. I had always used the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief and found it really hydrated by skin but even this stopped working for my face. I thought I would try the Superdrug, Superdrug Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream
and it is amazing. It leaves my skin so hydrated and not feeling tight.
February has been a busy month for us with lots of firsts for Alfie which included his first smile and also sleeping through the night in his own bedroom. We have also been to baby massage which he seems to be enjoying and its nice to mix with other mums. And not forgetting him turning 3 months – yes you read that right! It seems like yesterday he was born.
We had two birthday partys Heidi was invited to – on the same weekend. She had a lovely time and it was so nice to see her playing with her nursey friends.
We also had needles for both of them this month which was so difficult for me as I hate taking them. Heidi’s pre school boosters was alwats going to be the most difficult with her being older and knowing what was coming, but she was so good and got a present for being so brave.
We also got to attend the launch party at Mattel Play for a new website Nearly there yet, Liverpool. The website is great if you are looking for something to do with your little ones in Liverpool. All you have to do is put your postcode in the search box and it brings up a list of places close to you to take your kids.
The launch party was really good and Heidi had a lovely time. We spent the whole time in the Fireman Sam area, we couldnt get her to go to a different floor!
I hope you all had a lovely February, do you have any plans for March?
