As soon as you find out your pregnant its all about the pram I think, and the choice out there is absolutely mind blowing. There are so many different brands, style, colours its like a mind field. When I was pregnant with Heidi I went for a plain black travel system from Mamas and Papas and it was the Zoom which is sadly no longer available in Mama’s and Papa’s which I found out when I went to order spare parts this month. We still use this pram now for Heidi – well my mum does I use a buggie every now and then, and its been really good still in pretty good condition, it just needs a bit of maintenance. So we decided to use the same pram this time around, the main point being we just cant afford a new pram at the moment. I think I might look in to one of those company’s who restore your pram for you, if anyone could recommend one that would be great?

I still like to look though and hopefully we will have a little win on the lottery and can buy one but for now here are a few of my top picks and your will notice a theme of them all being dark colours.

If i could have any pram regardless of price I would go for the Stokke® Xplory Pram & Pushchair in navy blue. It is on the expensive side at £948.00 but I have heard really good things about it from other mums and I just love the colour.

Mothercare, £948

Another favorite of mine is the iCandy Peach Designer Collection Dusk Edition this is £1,300 which again is on the pricey side but I love it. I will never be able to afford one but as I say its nice to look.

iCandy World, £1300

Then there’s the classic Silver Cross Surf 3 Complete Pram and Pushchair – Black & Graphite I love how simple this is and just looks clean and simple.

Mothercare, £1090

The Quinny Moodd and Maxi-Cosi Pebble travel system – black devotion is actually on sale at the moment in mothercare for £500 and I think its a bargain, you can only pre order but if your looking for a pram this looks perfect. I like the style of this one its modern and I love the size of the basket, any mum knows that is a must.

Mothercare, £500

Finally we have the Urbo² – Blue Denim which is a bit different in colour from my other picks but i just love the style of this one with the denim blue and brown. I think it would be perfect for a little boy and again it has a decent size basket for all the trips to the shops you will probably make.

Mama’s & Papa’s, £649

What pram did you end up going for and was it what you expected?
